I wrote the first draft of what would become this film in December 2018, to submit to SODEC's Cours écrire ton court 2019. Thanks to my peers in the programme, and mentor David Uloth and caring pushes from many others, I had a strong draft ready for a "mock pitch" session at Régard sur le court métrage 2019. It was ostensibly for practice, but producer Emmanuel Hessler, who I had worked with before in his videography days, followed up with me to produce the script.
Bleach originally started as the BLEACHx project. The film is currently available to watch for free on Omeleto.
